At night, heat loss via infrared radiation is prevented thanks to the advanced copolymers in the film. This results in higher temperatures at night and less risk of frost, giving you bigger harvests and a longer season.
Anti-condensation (aD)
Condensation inside a greenhouse not only significantly lowers the temperature, it can also damage the plants. On GjordNära EVA 5, the inner layer is anti-condensation treated, and instead of droplets, a uniform layer of water forms on the inside, which then runs off along the film. Fewer droplets also means more light!

GjordNära EVA 5 is UV resistant for at least 5 years. This strong UV protection means your film will stay fresh longer. The 5-year warranty covers UV wear. However, we do not guarantee against mechanical wear/abrasion. We recommend careful taping of all construction parts that touch the film to avoid chafing.
Better transparency
The flat smooth surface keeps the film clean. A clean film lets through more light. The light is refracted and diffused, and this better distribution reduces the risk of burns on the plants in the greenhouse.
Measure and calculate consumption
If you want to replace greenhouse plastic on a frame, you need to know how much is needed.
- The width of the plastic is the hoop length + 100cm.
- Length = greenhouse length + 50cm
- You also need plastic for the gables. Here you need the gable width + 20cm and the gable height + 50cm
- In addition to the plastic, you need Hoop clips, hotspot tape, and a plan for how the entrance should work. The easiest is to build a simple door out of wood. We have ready-made door kits that fit most types of greenhouses.
