History & use
'Zojka' is a Russian-Polish variety that produces large, elongated berries with fine sweetness and mild tartness. The berries are good fresh and excellent for jam, juice, and baked goods. The variety is high-yielding and blooms early, giving harvest early in summer. Blueberry honeysuckle has been used for generations in Russia and Eastern Europe for its early and abundant harvest.
Cultivation
Thrives in sun to partial shade in well-drained, moisture-retentive soil. Preferably plant with another variety for better yield. Hardy and very robust shrub that withstands cold winters and changeable spring weather.
