History & use
'Wojtek' is a Russian-Polish variety known for its large, juicy berries with a sweet and mild taste. The berries are used fresh, for juice, jam, or baking. The variety is high-yielding and reliable even in poor spring weather. Blueberry honeysuckle is one of the first berries to ripen in the season and has long been used in colder growing areas.
Cultivation
Thrives in sun to partial shade in well-drained but moisture-retentive soil. Preferably planted with another variety for cross-pollination and higher yield. Very hardy and resistant to cold and diseases.
