It is a hardy Kiwi variety that can grow and produce good fruit outdoors in our climate. The fruits are small and hairless, and are eaten with the peel on. , unlike the hairy kiwifruit we are used to buying in stores. The fruits are sweet and flavorful and resemble the common kiwi in taste. The variety is very hardy in our Nordic climate and has a compact growth habit, making it suitable for covering a surface - for example a wall or trellis. The fruits ripen in September-October. The fruits are a rich source of vitamin C (up to 5 times more than blackcurrants, for example) and can be eaten straight from the plant without peeling. The fruits can also be used to make jam. In Korea, young leaves are used in a vegetable dish called namul. Culture: These types of Minikiwi can withstand temperatures down to at least -25 ℃ . They all have a winding growth habit and <meta charset="utf-8">can grow up to 3-4 meters high. Some type of climbing support is necessary, such as a trellis, wall or pergola. If you want to grow in a forest garden, it works great to let Minikiwn grow against a tree trunk - try to make sure that there is a fairly good amount of light entering the plant. In May-July they bloom with small, fragrant white flowers which then turn into tasty, smooth small fruits in the female plants.<meta charset="utf-8"> The summer green leaves turn a beautiful yellow in the fall. Den har odlats i tusentals år för sina vackra vita blommor och intensiva kvällsdoft, och används än idag inom parfymindustrin. Blommorna kan även användas i doftpåsar, teblandningar (i mycket små mängder) eller som dekoration. I traditionell örtanvändning sägs jasmin kunna verka rogivande, både i form av doft och som mild teingrediens. I flera kulturer används den för att smaksätta grönt te. <h4>Odling</h4> Parfymjasmin uppges vara härdig ned till -15ºC <meta charset="utf-8">(Phillips. R. & Rix. M. Shrubs., Davis. B. Climbers and Wall Shrubs.) och tillhöra USDA odlingszon 6-7, det är alltså -23ºC respektive -17ºC. Det är i allra högsta grad en tempererad växt även om den må tillhöra den mildare ändan av den tempererade klimatskalan. Den odlas mycket i Storbritannien: i de nordliga delarna av landet mot vägg i söder-/västerläge, i de södra delarna av landet är den fullt härdig. Det finns inte mycket källor på odling i Sverige ännu men vi kommer själva att prova på att odla denna emot en stenmur i sydvästlig vinkel i år (2025). I de kallare delarna av landet odlas den helst i kruka – gärna i växthus, uterum eller ljus inomhusmiljö. Cultivated in Sweden in the 17th century under the name strawberry . Since the beginning of the 20th century, however, the plant has been completely replaced by the modern strawberry, which also took over its name. Origin from the Caucasus Mountains. The berries of the park wild strawberry are larger than the common wild strawberry ( F. vesca ) but smaller than the strawberry. The berries have an intense aroma and taste, similar to a mixture of strawberry, raspberry and pineapple. Juicy flesh. The berries are red only on the part where the sun hits. Blooms more abundantly and more beautifully than the common wild strawberry. Best eaten straight from the plant, but can also be used to make juice and jelly.
