Unit price perBone meal in 1.7 liters (1.6 kg) packaging from Rölunda's Garden Pharmacy
Bone meal is a natural, long-lasting fertilizer that is especially rich in phosphorus, but also contains nitrogen and calcium. It is an excellent choice to stimulate strong root growth, improve flowering, and promote fruit setting in plants. The balanced nutrient composition makes bone meal particularly suitable for perennial plants such as fruit trees, berry bushes, roses, perennials, and bulb plants. The phosphorus in bone meal works slowly and is stored in the soil, making it perfect as a base fertilizer when planting or as autumn fertilization for the next season.
Also acts as a repellent against, among others, cloven-hoofed animals, rabbits & hares.

Dosage
When planting, mix about 0.5–1 dl bone meal per plant directly into the soil. Larger plants such as trees and bushes need about 1–2 dl around the root zone. For surface fertilization in existing crops, spread 1–2 dl per square meter, preferably in spring or autumn. Lightly work the fertilizer into the soil and water if needed. Bone meal often works as the sole nutrient source due to its slow, steady effect.
